Tomorrow Sunday, August 22nd is the Wilkes Barre Triathlon. As all residents are aware there are many street closures not only in Harveys Lake, but also in other areas of the Back Mountain. Please watch for these street closures as you are out and about. In addition to Harveys Lake Police, we will also have Fire Police at many of the intersections that will be closed, please follow any and all direction given by them.
We will also have Water Rescue personnel in boats on the lake in the area of the swimming portion of the triathlon. We ask that all boats not involved with the triathlon to stay clear of the swim area for not only the swimmers safety, but rescue personnel as well.

We hope that everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather that we are having. While you are out working in the yard, swimming, fishing, or whatever you maybe doing outside, make sure that you stay hydrated. Dehydration can be very serious.
If you are indulging in adult beverages, keep in mind that it will dehydrate you, so make sure that you are drinking lots of water, Gatorade or similar drinks.
We are always here to help if there is a medical problem, but we would like to help prevent those medical problems.
