We have been informed by Mayor Hogan that the Homecoming events for Sunday, Sept. 4th, 2011 have been cancelled.

Electrical power was restored to some portions of the Borough last night. Information received from UGI, indicates that 90% of the Borough should have power within the next few hours. It is unknown to us at this time when the remaining 10% will have power restored.

Since the electric power was lost around Harveys Lake, HLFD and other crews have been working diligently to remove downed trees and clear all roadways.  At this point in time, it is unknown to us when UGI Electric will get power restored.
