Ice Safety
This morning some of our Water Rescue team and from Germania Hose Co., were on WNEP discussing ice safety and were demonstrating some of our rescue techniques. If you missed it, please watch at noon and 4pm. We will also be posting linka to the online videos when available.
Harveys Lake Boating Restriction
Harveys Lake Police has been in contact with PA Boat & Fish Commission. At this time due to the water level and debri in the water, boat traffic is being restricted to a NO WAKE ZONE for the entire lake. This is to prevent damage to boat houses and docks from the waves created, as well as damage to boats underway by debri.
At this time it is unknown how long this restriction will be in place.
