We are starting to feel the effects of Hurricane Sandy, and it is only going to get worse. Please pay attention to the news and take all warnings seriously. With heavy rain and wind, will come flooded roads, washed out roads, trees and power lines down. Unless you have to go out, please stay at home where it is safer. At this point in time, you should have all your preparations complete and have no need to go out.
If you should have to go out, drive slow and DO NOT cross flooded sections of road. It doesn’t take much to wash your car away or you if on foot. If you come upon any police, fire or ems personnel, please obey any and all directions that they give. Emergency personnel are keeping apprised of current and future issues, and are risking their lives to protect yours.
If you should need any assistance from the police, fire or ems, please call 911.
Thank you and be safe.
